Retail Store Manager
Zuri Furniture, a fast growing modern furniture retailer with stores in Dallas and Frisco, is looking for a long-term Retail Store Manager. This position is responsible for all aspects of running profitable store locations and requires a leader who will set the tone and culture of the stores to ensure success in sales, customer service, delivery, profitability, operations, staffing, and associate development.
Work with sales staff on a daily basis to capitalize on every potential sales opportunity.
Provide sales team with constant training and management support.
Implement individual & team goals in order to maximize potential.
Generate quality leads by building relationships with customers.
Actively promote the company's 'In-Home Design Consultation' program.
Motivate sales team to increase their personal sales and ensure efficiency.
Assist in maintaining a positive morale among design team.
Create an atmosphere in our stores where customer service is prioritized and where they are provided with the best service in the industry.
Point-of-contact for customer issues including (but not limited to):
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company's two retail showrooms (Dallas & Frisco)
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company's clearance center and warehouse (Dallas)
Support the closing efforts of the store, as needed.
Ensure full understanding and awareness of all current product and product information.
Maintain store records and documentation, including sales data, petty cash accounts, and consumer issue documentation.
Work with HR Manager to ensure proper employee performance, timekeeping, and HR records are documented and upheld.
Assumes leadership and development role through effective total store communication, awareness of morale, staff development, and implementation of selling priorities.
Possess and demonstrate a clear understanding of company visual merchandising standards and concepts indicated in the applicable design resources, and the ability to use them effectively and creatively.
Hiring, training, and developing a high performing sales team.
Minimum of 2-5 years of retail management experience required, at least 1 year of furniture retail experience preferred
Proven track record of leadership and professional achievement
Well organized with the ability to be flexible based on the needs of the business
Available to work a full-time retail schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
College degree required
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software, legalities in the workplace, retail operations
Strong analytical skills, excellent communicator and creative problem solver
Ability to "think like an owner" and respond to the challenges & opportunities inherent in running a small business

Based on experience. Will have base salary with unlimited upside potential through aggressive bonuses and commissions
